This past weekend, Oakland Baptist Church celebrated the Life of Pastor Jim Ayers. We held a Celebration of Life Service with special music, words, and prayers. Cindy Ayers was acknowledged for her 25 years of Service to Oakland Baptist Church. This would have been Jim's 25th year with us, and we are happy we came together to celebrate such a good man. After the service, Phyllis Hurlock and members of the Richardsville Fire and Rescue put on a fried chicken dinner, and family and members enjoyed an afternoon of fellowship and reminiscing.

174th Homecoming Celebration was held on Sunday, June 4, 2017. We enjoyed our Special Guest Speaker Matt Wagner and Special Music provided by The Traveling Pilgrims.
